JBL teams up with five of Europe’s biggest football stars for global culture-led “Own Your Sound” campaign
Uniting football, music and self-expression, top players and emerging creatives co-create original music tracks and bespoke JBL PartyBox 520 designs – and fans can win one
Amsterdam, 1 May 2026 – JBL unveils Own Your Sound, a global campaign that connects sport, music and individuality through the personal stories of five world-class footballers including Virgil van Dijk and Declan Rice. Moving beyond traditional sponsorship, the campaign celebrates originality and self-expression by bringing together elite athletes, emerging music talent from JBL’s Music Academy and bespoke product design.
What: Kicking off on April 30th, the Own Your Sound campaign features five athlete ambassadors: Virgil van Dijk (Netherlands), Declan Rice (England), Nico Williams (Spain), Karim Adeyemi (Germany) and Eduardo Camavinga (France). Each athlete is paired with emerging designers and JBL Music Academy artists to co-create custom JBL PartyBox designs and original music tracks inspired by their personal worlds beyond football.
Where: The campaign launches globally across JBL owned channels, social media, digital platforms and the dedicated Own Your Sound landing page, with local market activations throughout Europe and beyond.
