The JBL Music Academy with Martin Garrix reopens its doors to emerging artists

Amsterdam, 8 April 2025 – It’s back. The JBL Music Academy with Martin Garrix is now accepting applications for this year’s program. Now in its third edition, the JBL Music Academy continues its mission to empower up-and-coming artists worldwide. For the first time, the Music Academy now also welcomes applicants from Brazil.

The exclusive four-day program will again take place at Martin Garrix’s record label, Amsterdam-based STMPD Studios in November, giving 30 emerging musicians, songwriters, singers and producers the tools they need to take their careers to the next level. Successful applicants will attend in-depth workshops from leading figures in the industry, including Martin Garrix himself, and connect with other artists from across the world.

Supporting artists beyond the program, the JBL Music Academy has provided alumni the opportunity to perform at major events like Tomorrowland Festival, Montreux Jazz Fest, the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), JBL Snow Party and Club JBL London.

“It’s been amazing to see how the JBL Music Academy has grown and the incredible talent that comes through each year,” said Martin Garrix, JBL Global Brand Ambassador. “Last year’s artists blew me away with their dedication and creativity, and I know this year will be no different. Providing a space to learn, connect, and grow is something I’m really passionate about, and I can't wait to see what this new group of artists will bring to the table.”

Artists can apply by completing the application form and submitting a motivational video and up to three music tracks that best represent their personal sound. Applications for the JBL Music Academy with Martin Garrix are now open to artists from Europe*, Asia**, India (excluding the state of Tamil Nadu), Australia, USA and Brazil. The deadline to apply is May 13, 2025. The shortlist will be announced on June 10th, and finalists will be selected between June 10th-September 30th.
