JBL Quantum Stream microphones: creating content for everyone, anywhere, anytime

The updated JBL Quantum Stream range helps creators amplify the reach of their voices with JBL’s legendary sound quality

CES 2024, LAS VEGAS – January 8, 2024 – JBL, a trailblazer in audio technology, has announced a major expansion of its successful Quantum Stream line of microphones - the

JBL Quantum Stream Talk, JBL Quantum Stream Studio and JBL Quantum Stream Wireless. Continuing its legacy of offering premier sound quality for everyone, the latest additions to the series help ensure that content creators can tell their story regardless of their format preference.

Whether users are recording podcasts with guests, creating the latest hit song or just chatting with their fanbase online, there is a JBL Quantum Stream series microphone made for every moment. All three products include condenser microphones, with a wide, flat frequency range, your streams and recordings will sound studio-quality and capture every nuance of what you're saying.

“We understand it is crucial that content creators have the best equipment to deliver the highest quality audio experience. For over three quarters of a century, JBL has delivered high-definition sound to listeners around the world, and the time is right to focus on the other side of the equation,” said Carsten Olesen, President of Consumer Audio at HARMAN. “With the expansion of the Quantum Stream line of microphones, creators can tap into JBL’s signature sound, so their stories aren’t just told, but also heard.”

The JBL Quantum Stream Talk serves as the introduction to the range, with built-in

JBL QuantumENGINE PC software allowing users to adjust the microphone’s EQ to precisely suit their surrounding area. A shock-absorbing base and a super cardioid pickup pattern ensure background noise-free recordings optimized for solo streaming.

For creators on the go, the JBL Quantum Stream Wireless is versatile and wearable, with an omnidirectional pattern that picks up high quality sound from every direction. A dongle for automatic connectivity and lightweight, clip-on design delivers easy portability. Environmental noise canceling ensures recordings are captured without interruption from surrounding sound sources.

As the flagship microphone of the line, the JBL Quantum Stream Studio levels up any recording to professional quality with its specially designed three condenser microphones and 192 kHz/24 bit broadcast quality sampling rate. Whether users are streaming games or recording by themselves, with a co-host, or with a roomful of guests, the microphone’s quad-pattern pickup design allows for the best sound capture in any scenario. Optimal sound capture is also supported by the mic’s universal mounting solution, which allows users to mount the mic to their preference. An RGB-lit volume meter lets users know the volume with a glance. The

JBL Quantum Stream Studio’s dynamic range compressor stops loud noises from getting distorted in recordings, calls or streams, and it amplifies quiet sound for a more enjoyable recording.

The Quantum Stream Talk will cost €49.99, Quantum Stream Wireless will be offered at €99.99, and the Quantum Stream Studio will cost €149.99. The microphones will be available on JBL.com in March 2024, featuring packaging crafted from FSC-certified paper and printed with soy ink.

In conjunction with the expanded JBL Quantum Series, JBL is enhancing the

JBL Headphones app to support the JBL Quantum 910X/P (February 2024) and

JBL Quantum 360X/P (March 2024) models. This means users can effortlessly adjust headset settings via Bluetooth on any mobile device while gaming, eliminating the need to interrupt their game. The app will offer customization for RGB settings, audio preferences, microphone controls, and more, delivering an unparalleled immersive gaming experience.
